As announced in the News Section earlier today we are undertaking a few sofwtare changes this eveing. Most should have no obvious impact on end users, but if anyone hits any major problems let me know.

The first of the upgrades is now complete and seems to have been successful.

Some users had reported problems with the 'Contact Us' Form failing to show the "Send" button on certain browsers. We have now found the problem, carried out an upgrade and tested the problem and the fault appears to be rectified.

Please let me know if it is not.

Next major upgrade complete -

We have now completed a security update for the core Content Management System. We are now running the absolute latest version of the CMS which means we are least vulnerable to hackers.

No sign of any problems ;-)

Most of the upgrade of the memebrship management system is done.

You shouldn't notice any difference really - but there are some slicker going's on in the back. There will be further work to be done on this so expect a notice about maint again tommorrow evening (Tuesday).

Just the document management system to go after that ;-)

The user expiration dates have now been updated. These should now be showing correctly for all users across the system (ending on the year they joined the association, unless they joined after September in which case the following year)

The system updates notified for the last 2 days have now (almost) completed.

The good news is that everything seems to have gone to plan. If you have problems please let me know.

The reason I say almost complete:

There will still be some behind the scenes fiddling with the memebrship system - it shouldn't affect your user experience.

The other reason is the docuemnt management system we use announced today tehy will release a new version tommorrow. I'm not daft enough to install it tommorrow as ours works... ...but expect a future upgrade soon. That is reported to increase the WHOLE site speed by about 20%.

Subscription manager will be down for 30 minutes for urgent fix to be applied to invoice settings.
