The association has agreed some changes to the rules for TT qualification.  At the Association AGM in November 2008, the consensus of opinion was that the rules for an event to qualify for the travellers trophy should be changed to:

The minimum number of entrants for an event to be classified as a TT event will be six. To encourage/reward travelling boats, travelling craft will be classed as two entrants.
