This piece of video was taken in 1993 at Sandsend, near Whitby.

 

 

As you can see it was fresh and pretty  cloudy. The wind was coming along the foreshore making it easier and safer to get out - and come back in.

On board are Neil and Ruthie Ford. 

The landing:

 

"Tramp" - Heron 1834 - is a family boat, purchased in 1988(?), purely for sailing, rowing and motoring on local rivers and on holidays all over the UK. She has been a delight to own, and is much loved by family and friends. She was built in 1951 as "Marcia".
