This section of the website allows members to get in touch with each other to buy and sell Herons and equipment. It is also open to non-members and the service is free.

The Association does not itself sell the boats. Descriptions are from owners and are not the recommendation or responsibility of the Association.
If you would like to advertise here, please click on "Contact Us" and following the "Boats for Sale" link. This will enable you to submit your advertisement by email.
Advertisements will be displayed for about four months and then removed, unless you ask for them to be renewed. Please help us keep the list up to date by letting us know if you have had a successful sale or have found what you wanted.
Advertisements will also be included in the Heron News sent to members every quarter. They will normally be removed after appearing in two editions, unless you ask for them to be renewed.
Useful things to put in the advertisement include:
- the sail number
- whether the boat is wood or GRP
- whether it's Gunter or Bermudan rig
- whether a launching trolley, road trailer or cover is included in the sale
- where the boat is (county or town)
- your contact details (name, home and/or mobile telephone numbers and/or email address)
- what price you would like.
While there is no particular limit on the number of words, brief advertisements are preferred. For example:
Heron Sail No 8667 Wood. Gunter rig. Recently painted but deck needs varnishing. Includes cover and launch trolley. £300. Contact John Smith

The website uses some technology solutions to protect email addresses from programs which collect addresses for spamming but of course this can not be guaranteed 100% effective. Let us know if you don't want your email address to appear on the website. |
