let any interested Heron Class members know that the sail training ship Pelican of London has some berths for crew on the Tall Ships Races 2008 and on the Funchal 500 tall ships race (Falmouth – Portugal – Madeira – Tenerife).

Crew can do the whole race or individual legs.

The Travellers Trophy is awarded to the sailor with the three highest positions at events qualifying for Travellers Trophy Status throughout the year.

Traveller's Trophy Status is granted to all "Championship" events (Northerns, Southerns and Crewed and Single Handed Nationals) and to any Heron Open Event with at least 5 Herons competing.
