Home Home Help Website I sent a message using the 'Contact Us' Form but have had no reply?

I followed the link to 'Contact Us' and then the link to an individual person to send a message, I filled in the on-line form and my contact details but no-one has replied. How do I know if my message has arrived?

Messages arrive with our server almost instantly, however, they may then be forwarded to individual association committee members own email addresses. Most emails receive a reply within 2-3 days, however, if the committee memebr is away a response may take longer.

Unless you need an urgent response if you haven't had a response within 7-10 days we would suggest you re-send the message. If you still do not receive a reply, or your message is urgent, you should try contacting a different committee member - or contact the webmaster. Alternatively if you have a username and password use the Forum to post a message.

Remember! Check your JUNK MAIL box for missing messages...!

AOL users need to take extra measure:

AOL uses very strict spam filtering rules which are excessively stringent. The default configuration for AOL users is to prevent them receiving messages from anyone who is not in their address book. This prevents any heron committee members from being able to contact you. The same applies to messages containing your username and password to access the website!

If you are an AOL user we would suggestyou switch off this stringent SPAM Filtering (known as White Listing). If you are unwilling to do this we require you to provide an alternative contact address (either using one of the free e-mail accounts such as yahoo or gmail or a telephone / postal address ) so that we can reply.

We regularly contact AOL to report problems contacting their members but we are unable to get them to do anything about it.

If when you sent the email message you ticked the 'Send a copy to me' box and you never received a copy this is a clear sign that we are likely to have problems sendign a reply to you as well.  PLEASE resend the message and incldue a telephone number and postal address.
